Lily Pad Interiors is committed to providing parents and grandparents with a full range of design services – along with carefully selected pieces and distinctive custom touches – to create unique, inspiring and safe environments for the cherished children in their lives. Whether it’ s a nurturing nursery or a hip teen retreat, designing for children is our passion and our specialty.
I started out as an interior decorator for children in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State and later expanded my business into an on-line boutique to better serve clients outside of my immediate area. I love my work, and I’ m so excited to have the opportunity now to collaborate with parents and grandparents across the country.
I believe that a child’ s environment is so much more than a place to meet the basic needs of sleeping, dressing, studying and bathing. It should be a place that sparks creativity, fosters a sense of security, and creates treasured memories for years to come a room or suite of rooms that is age-appropriate, but will grow with the child. It is my goal to make the decorating process fun for all involved.
Most of all, I aspire to light up children’ s faces – one face at a time.
