All About Gliders

A glider is probably the most used item in your nursery.  Choose something that you absolutely love – you are going to spend a lot of time in it!

Some considerations about gliders:

• Gliders  take up a ton of room (no joke), especially if you want an ottoman, which we strongly recommend for comfort. Please don't try to squeeze a glider into your room without first taking measurements.  This is a must do, and we are here to help.
  
  
• You also need to leave “ rock room” behind gliders.  All are slightly different.  Please call us and we will give you some assistance on this. 
  
  
• Let's say that you are trying to set your glider angled in a corner: You need to leave 1 foot of rock room behind it. Now envision an ottoman in front of it.  Remember the old saying, “ measure twice, cut once” ?  That's exactly what's needed here.
  
  

As you peruse our glider collection, once again pick a form that you love as with our furniture, we have endless options for using fabric and trim to make the glider all your own and coordinate it seamlessly with your room.  We normally pick fabrics for the glider in conjunction with the  bedding and  window fabric selections.  We can also coordinate nursing pillow covers,  decorative pillows and throws to go with your glider. Again, add your favorite gliders to your My Favorites folder so that we can work with you on this important decision.
