Don't forget the lights! This decor touch perfectly illustrates why we always say a beautiful design is all in the details. Well-chosen  lighting fixtures can add so much to a room.  Whereas hastily chosen lighting won't even be noticed, high-quality lamps and fixtures will always attract admiring glances – especially from you!

First we must work out what your lighting needs are.  Here are some things to think about:

• If you have a glider as part of your floor plan, do you need a light on the side table if you are going to read to your child in that chair?
  
  
• Do you need a table lamp on the nightstand next to the bed for reading in bed, or perhaps some  wall sconces over the bed?
  
  
• A chandelier hanging from the ceiling is not a must have, but can be a magnificent addition to a child's room.

Chandeliers are something to think about.  Seems like an extravagant purchase, right?  I have installed them in many of the local rooms that I have designed, and they always end up being one of the client's favorite part of the room, a real crowning touch.

As you browse through our lighting section, please pay closest attention to the form of the chandelier or lamp, as almost all of our artisans offer their products in a wide variety of finishes.

Also, look past the  lampshade that is shown on the picture and to the base structure, as lampshades are almost always purchased separately. We will work with you to find the perfect lampshades to go with your decor.  Custom designed  lampshades (out of, say, a fabric from your fabric collection) with custom trim is always an option with us.
